Our permaculture farm journey

In 2020, the decision was made to remove the long time tenant from farming the land. We started the process with letting the land go fallow and introducing native woody species. Since that time, we have combatted thistle, removed invasives, focused on soil health practices, and introduced more perennial food crops.

We will continue to grow the farm with perennial food crops, natives, conservation practices and I am sure lots of mistakes along the way. Check out the highlights of the past 4 years below and follow along on IG as we steward the land and build our farm @peacefulpracticalediblegardens

This photo was taken in December 2020. The land was tired and ready to heal.
